PrintingForLess.com receives FSC certification

Press release from the issuing company

Livingston, MT - April 17, 2008 - Now, small business owners can fulfill their high-quality printing needs while doing their part to be environmentally responsible. PrintingForLess.com (PFL), at www.PrintingForLess.com, recently received The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification for responsible forest management. With this certification, PFL guarantees customers that products printed on house stock-papers are a result of well-managed forests adhering

to strict environmental standards.

'This certification is a promise to our customers that by using PFL, they are doing their part to help ensure healthy, sustainable forests while meeting their printing needs,' says Andrew Field, PFL Founder and CEO. 'And at the same time, they receive high-quality marketing materials they can be proud of.'

The FSC, www.fsc.org, is an international, non-profit, membership-based organization that 'brings people together to find solutions which promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests.' The FSC Principles and Criteria are the only internationally-valid standards for responsible forest management.

With PFL's new certification, they are helping FSC's mission to:

• Interact and cooperate with various players involved in responsible forest management - forest owners, social and environmental organizations - to solve the problems that forests face;

• Assure future generations that they will enjoy the benefits of the forest, forest management practices are responsible and will be further improved, ownership rights are respected, wood harvesting is legal, rights of workers and indigenous communities are respected, and areas of natural wealth and endangered wildlife habitat are not being negatively affected; and

• Use the FSC trademark on products to demonstrate that they come from legal and well managed sources.

According to FSC.org, PFL's new 'Chain of Custody' certification demonstrates to customers that 'there is a system in place to verify the sources of the wood used to manufacture the products, and this FSC label provides the link between responsible production and consumption.'
