GMG sales growth exceeds 50% in 2004

Press release from the issuing company

Tuebingen (01.26.2005) – GMG, supplier of high-end color management and proofing solutions, today announced that the company achieved an extraordinary increase in sales in 2004 as a result of the continuous expansion of its sales activities in new regions. Sales throughout the year grew constantly, as the highest monthly sales in the company's history were recorded in November 2004. Last year, GMG succeeded in boosting sales by well over 50% compared to 2003. Along with very good growth in Germany, sales outside Germany rose at a disproportionately higher rate, now accounting for substantially more than half of total worldwide sales. Many countries, such as the UK, France and Italy, recorded sales growths of between 150% and 350%. Excellent results in Spain, Asia and the USA demonstrate that recent GMG investments in these countries have already paid off in the first year. GMG opened its own branches in the UK, Spain, France and, most recently, Benelux during 2004. US and Asian offices were established in 2003. “We are very pleased with this progress, which far exceeded our optimistic expectations”, says Robert Weihing, Managing Director of GMG GmbH & Co. KG. “It has become clear that we have been very successful in consistently transferring our many years of success in Germany to other countries, and that our efforts have rapidly borne fruit. We will continue to pursue this approach by concentrating in 2005 on regions where our efforts are still in their infancy. This will primarily mean Scandinavia and the Benelux countries, where we opened a regional office during the fall 2004, will receive a good deal of attention.” To support corporate marketing activities, GMG’s product range will again be expanded in 2005 – new versions will ensure that GMG will further extend its technological market leadership role.
