KPG Brings Color Management Technology To China

Press release from the issuing company

Norwalk, Connecticut, USA — Among the most cutting edge cars, video games, and televisions, Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) displayed its color management expertise at the first International Cultural Industry Fair (ICIF) in Shenzhen, China. KPG’s exhibit supported the theme, “A Colorful World Brought to You by KPG Color Management Solutions,” demonstrating KPG’s color proofing solutions. Throughout the five-day exhibition in November, more than 700 companies participated, including Sony, Panasonic, Cadillac and Saab. Nearly 500,000 visitors took advantage of the opportunity to learn more about Shenzhen’s industries, including media, tourism, entertainment, printing, manufacturing, digital TV, animation and industrial design. “The printing industry can be viewed as a measure of the cultural and economic development of an area,” said Qiu Jianming, Sales Director, KPG China. “Printing is one of the key growth industries in Shenzhen, with the government offering great support for industry development. The ICIF provided an opportunity to inform the general public about the printing industry and KPG’s role in the China market.” In recent years, rapid advancements in information technology and digitalization have created an evolution among printers in China. With Chinese printers beginning to realize the importance of adapting to new technologies to provide better quality printing, the ICIF dedicated a section of the fair to the printing industry. With a series of exciting exhibits and activities, the ICIF serves as a grand cultural extravaganza for Chinese residents. Organized by the Shenzhen Media Group and Shenzhen Press Group, the ICIF promotes cultural brands, provides a platform for business exchange and serves as an international celebration of culture.
