Delivering full support for the printing industry standard file format, among other enhancements, Splash continues to be the benchmark in graphic arts performance for color-critical, high-quality Mac-based environments. Exclusive to Xerox Corporation’s line of color imaging systems, the Splash G640 server drives the Xerox DocuColor 12 copier-printer while the Splash G3535 is specific to the Xerox DocuColor 3535 copier-printer. New Splash features include: Support for PDF 1.5– Virtually eliminating printing errors, Splash supports PDF files that use PDF 1.5 features for the Xerox DocuColor 3535 and is the only Raster Image Processor (RIP) to offer this support for the Xerox DocuColor 12. This means support for Acrobat 6.0 files, the latest version of the printing industry standard file format. Native OS X AppleTalk and LPR Spooler–Yielding enhanced system stability and higher performance, the Native OS X AppleTalk Spooler replaces the Splash AppleTalk Spooler and Native LPR replaces Enterprise Networking, both of which formerly ran in Classic OS.  EFI Format Converter– For ease of use and seamless integration with Splash Hot Folders workflow, the EFI Format Converter, a unified converter native to OS X, consolidates the former TIFF-IT, PDF-X, PSD, CT-LW and CT-NLW file converters into one. 50% Improved Printing Speed -Delivering maximum productivity, the Splash G3535 now prints multi-set collated documents and mixed black & white and color jobs twice as fast as the previous generation Splash servers.
