DuPont Imaging Technologies, Creo to Offer New DuPont Cromalin Veris System

January 11, 2005 — DuPont Imaging Technologies and Creo Inc. are initiating new joint development and sales activities in color proofing. DuPont will deploy its well-recognized DuPont CromaNet color management, together with DuPont Cromalin ink and media, on the Creo Veris proofer. Work is underway to complete development of this Cromalin Veris proofing solution, which will be available through DuPont sales channels. "The initiative between our companies builds on a well-established relationship in the provision of thermal digital halftone proofing systems and consumables, and the development of color filter manufacturing systems for the flat panel display industry," said Amos Michelson, chief executive officer, Creo. "Our companies have a strong history of leveraging the technical excellence each company has to offer." "We have signed this joint development and sales agreement with Creo in support of the continued evolution of Color Proofing and to enhance our Color Communication offering," said Paolo Barbieri, global business director, DuPont Color Communication. "This innovation creates a premiere level of image quality and color accuracy that when associated with the finest Cromalin color management and media, will offer a unique, high-level contract proofing solution.
