Two Leading Research Organizations Recognize Seven Xerox Products with Top Honors

ROCHESTER, N.Y.--Jan. 7, 2005-- Xerox Corporation closed 2004 by winning seven industry awards from Better Buys for Business and Buyers Laboratory Inc., two independent research organizations. Better Buys for Business, a leading independent authority on office imaging equipment, bestowed "Editor's Choice" awards on four Xerox digital color systems: the Xerox CopyCentre C3545 color copier, WorkCentre Pro C3545 color advanced multifunction system, DocuColor 12 color copier/printer and DocuColor 3535 color advanced multifunction system. Xerox also received three "Pick of the Year" awards from BLI for the Phaser 7750GX color laser printer, the Phaser 4500DX laser printer, and the WorkCentre M20i desktop multifunction device. BLI conducts intensive competitive testing on document products, comparing overall performance, productivity, reliability and ease of use, among many other critical performance factors. The organization found the Phaser and WorkCentre products to be superior. "We put products through the paces with our rigorous testing methods," said Michael Danziger, CEO, Buyers Laboratory Inc.
