Electronic Publishing Names HumanEyes 3D a HOT Product of 2004

December 20, 2004 – Jerusalem – HumanEyes Technologies, a leading innovator in advanced 3D production solutions for easy photo capture through output; today announces its selection as one of 12 Hot Products of 2004 by the prestigious, U.S.-based Electronic Publishing magazine. The news, made just six months after product launch, comes on the heels of HumanEyes 3D’s win of the drupa 2004 “Innovation of the Show”, and a “Must See ‘em” at Graph Expo 2004. According to Electronic Publishing, HumanEyes 3D and other Hot Product winners (3DAdobe Creative Suite Premium, Enfocus Instant PDF, and Xerox Docu Color 8000) "heated up the market over the past year and brought users a competitive advantage”. HumanEyes 3D launched its Print Pro line of products at drupa 2004, in May. Since then the company has signed 14 on distributors worldwide. In Israel, HumanEyes is distributed by Getter Graphics. Says CEO Kobi Tadmor, “HumanEyes 3D brings our clients brand new revenue, by making the creation of beautiful, natural 3D images so easy and cost effective.” Numerous Awards in 2004 The award is the latest in a series of recognitions for HumanEyes 3D this year. At its launch during drupa 2004, HumanEyes 3D received an Innovation of the Show distinction; and at Graph Expo 2004, HumanEyes 3D was named a Must See ‘em product. The U.K.’s renowned Digit magazine gave HumanEyes 3D a 5 Star, Best Buy rating in 2004, as well. New, Easy 3D Based on Computer Vision Invention A combination of cutting-edge technology and a strong business team headed by CEO Gideon Ben-Zvi led to the development of HumanEyes3D, the world’s first software application allowing creation of natural, panoramic 3D images of up to 360 degrees using a single digital camera -- and then allowing re-use of the same shot for any number of print, 3D monitor display, or other applications. The solution combines 3D stereo and panorama – previously thought impossible - and is based on a technological breakthrough made by a Hebrew University team led by internationally-renowned computer vision expert Shmuel Peleg. 3D Images Yield Much Higher Impact on Consumers than Conventional, 2D Pictures The consumer impact realized from 3D is significantly higher than the impact created by 2D pictures, according to Market Watch, and other, studies. Brands already generating 3D or motion campaigns with HumanEyes 3D include: Miss Universe Organization; Looney Tunes; Coca Cola; Tati; Castro; Coffee Bean; Segafredo; Bed, Bath and Beyond; Phat Farm; Captain Morgan Parrot Bay Rum; and Dove Shampoo. The HumanEyes Board of Directors includes industry leaders mostly from the imaging world: Chairman Yoav Chelouche (former CEO of Scitex), Benny Landa (founder and former CEO of Indigo - now HP), Alon Dumanis of the Van-Leer Group, and HumanEyes CEO, Gideon Ben-Zvi (former founder and CEO of Ligature and co-founder of Wizcom Technologies traded in Deutsche Burse: WZM).
