Madison Advisors Announces its Enterprise Output Management Market Study

Press release from the issuing company

Colleyville, TX (January 4, 2005) – Madison Advisors, an advisory firm that advances the print and electronic communications objectives of Fortune 1000 companies, today announced that it has launched an industry study of the enterprise output management market. The study is designed to provide organizations with expert guidance on the enterprise output management systems (EOMS) market, including full reviews of the latest offerings from the top EOMS vendors. Barr, Emtex, IBM, LRS, Macro 4, Nearstar, Océ, ROC Software, and Solimar Systems have been invited to participate in the study. “Based on our initial survey of the vendors and emerging market drivers, Madison Advisors believes that the enterprise output management systems market will experience steady growth as economic conditions improve,” comments Kemal Carr, president of Madison Advisors. “With legislation like HIPAA and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, organizations must implement improved practices for maintaining the privacy of consumers’ medical and financial information,” explains Richard Huff, principal analyst with Madison Advisors and of the study. “In addition, improving economic conditions are opening up budgets for new software and hardware to better manage print production processes, including piece-level tracking of financial and healthcare related documents. Our study will help organizations understand how the top EOMS offerings address today’s critical business challenges.” During the study, Madison Advisors’ analysts will analyze current and future market trends to determine how they affect the end-user and vendor community. The study will also assess best practices from organizations that have been highly successful with their EOMS practices and technologies. Finally, the study will include a hands-on assessment of each vendor participant’s solution. “The study will reflect how well vendors have expanded software offerings to meet organizations requirements for multi-vendor printer support,” says Huff. The result of the study will be a formal report on the Enterprise Output Management market. Madison Advisors plans to release the report in Q1 of 2005.
