New leaders join the ColorGATE Team

Hannover, December 15, 2004 – ColorGATE the leading supplier for color management and rip solutions, as well as software services, announces the engagement of Mark Berndt as OEM Sales Manager for the Asia-Pacific Region, and Dietmar Fuchs as Senior Color Specialist. Both professionals bring a wealth of graphic arts experience to ColorGATE and its customers. They will be joining ColorGATE Digital Output Solutions GmbH as from January 1, 2005. The two new employees will strengthen the company which, since its founding in 1996, has been steadily and constantly growing. Today the production workflow and color management solutions from ColorGATE are available in more than 40 countries of the world, and in most cases have advanced to become the quasi standard. After his studies Mark Berndt graduated with a BA in International Relationships, and an MBA in International Management. Since then he has more than eight years of marketing and sales experience in the digital printing industry in the Asia Pacific region. He worked for three years for a multimedia software company, before joining the digital industry. He worked for six years at Onyx Graphics, and two years for ColorSpan. His new business position as OEM Sales Manager involves him focusing on developing strategic partnering and OEM opportunities with the rapidly growing Asia Pacific printer manufacturers. Dietmar Fuchs attained a diploma in photo engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne, Germany. From April 1997 on he has been Product Manager with the color management division of GretagMacbeth at the LOGO GmbH. KG. Within his responsibility were the successful products ProfileMaker Professional and the Eye One Match Software. In addition, Dietmar Fuchs is a member of ECI, Arbeitskreis Digitalfotografie; founder of the Arbeitskreis PhotoGamut for efficient color work spaces for photography, and in 2003 he was appointed into the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photographie (German Association for Photography/DGPH). From January 1, 2005 onwards he will be developing new concepts for the marketing of ColorGATE products, as well as using his comprehensive knowledge within color management in order to further optimize the ColorGATE products.
