Pitman Merges Eastern Pennsylvania Operation With H. David Siegfried Company

TOTOWA, NJ: DECEMBER 15, 2004-- Pitman Company, the leading independent North American graphic arts supplier, announced today the merger of its Eastern Pennsylvania operations, located in Exton, PA, with the H. David Siegfried Company, located in Philadelphia. The combined company will be located in Exton. H. David Siegfried Company was launched by Mr. Siegfried in 1949 and in recent years has been managed by the sons of the founder, David Siegfried, president, and Martin Siegfried, vice president. Both principals will remain with the merged operations, working from the Exton Branch. Joe Demharter, President of Pitman Company commented, “We are excited about both David and Martin joining the Pitman family. In January, the company expanded with Litho Supply Company, Inc. of Monrovia, California, which was merged into Pitman’s Los Angeles’s operations. In March the company merged Northeast Graphic Supply into its New England operations.
