Flint Group Reveals New Ad Campaign

PLYMOUTH, MI (April 1st, 2008) – Flint Group, a leader in ink manufacturing, has been a part of the North American packaging industry for over twenty years. In the past, their success was primarily highlighted by leadership in the Folding Carton market. Today, as demands of the packaging market have changed with more complex, high-end folding cartons, innovative flexible packaging designs and newer, more demanding presses, Flint Group has changed too.

To tell North America all about it, they have launched a new advertising campaign that asks the market to “Check us out!” The campaign’s primary message to packaging printers is: “More than our name has changed.” Significant investment in technical capabilities and product development has resulted in a stronger product portfolio and better service than ever before. Inspired by the message, packaging printers will be intrigued to learn more about what Flint Group has to offer.

The ads feature 50s-era photographs of lifestyle activities that involve packaging, including grocery shopping, laundry and cooking. By contrasting those images with modern day packaging, Flint Group’s packaging inks division underscores its understanding of today’s packaging needs and demands. The campaign positions Flint Group as the ink company of choice for packaging printers, and as the ink supplier who can help printers stay one step ahead of the competition.

The campaign will appear in various industry publications starting in April, and will run through the end of 2008.
