JetPlate ships 15 systems from Graph Expo 2004

Press release from the issuing company

Nebraska, Florida, December 1st 2004 JetPlate Systems inc., http://www.JetPlate.com, the manufacturer of the world’s most economical high-quality metal plate CTP solution for small printers, is proud to announce that within three weeks following their product launch at Graph Expo 2004 in Chicago, JetPlate sold and shipped 15 CTP systems. JetPlate has been experiencing a surge of interest, fueling existing industry market speculation, including recent reports from TrendWatch, a leading source of print industry data, that small printer CTP is the hot ticket for the foreseeable future. The JetPlate 4000 and 7600 line of High Performance Inkjet CTP Systems were selected as a Graph Expo Must See’em, a recognition reserved for a select few innovative and unique products at Graph Expo - this played a supporting role in drawing a record number of customers to the JetPlate booth. JetPlate demonstrated to large crowds the most economical metal plate making solution available, providing unparalleled quality and speed, even when compared to products two and three times the price. Alan Brynjolfsson, Partner, JetPlate Systems inc., “The demand for an affordable metal plate CTP system is huge. Previously, there was a limited selection of metal plate CTP solutions, but all generally too expensive for small printers - they have been left out of the metal plate CTP revolution, when they in fact are the largest segment of printers out there. I am proud to say metal plate CTP for the small printer has finally arrived, and JetPlate is off to a running start leading this industry evolution.” He continues, “TrendWatch this summer reported a rapid increase of interest in CTP in smaller commercial prints shops, a leading cause of this interest is lower prices on introductory systems. We’ve experienced this interest first-hand at Graph Expo. After demonstrating we could provide the quality and speed printers required, all in a turn-key system priced under $30,000, we ended up having a strong selling show.”
