KPG's Color Proofing Expertise On Display At FFTA Digital Prepress Conference

Press release from the issuing company

Norwalk, Connecticut, USA — Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) joins industry peers and customers to discuss flexographic digital prepress issues at the Flexographic Technology Association’s Digital Prepress Conference in San Diego. KPG’s Todd Bigger, Product Manager, Digital Color Systems, United States and Canada, will join representatives from DuPont, Creo, Agfa, EFI and Latran in a panel discussion on the role of color management and digital and remote proofing in reducing internal costs and improving turnaround time, despite accelerated schedules and complex decision chains. “Flexography applications, especially consumer packaging, increasingly require consistent, accurate color in jobs with short turnaround times,” said Bigger. “Seminars such as this provide an opportunity for customers to learn about the most effective proofing technologies and systems to help them meet these demands.” The conference also provides KPG with an opportunity to display its color proofing technologies. KPG’s table top exhibit will feature live demonstrations of monitor and remote proofing via KPG’s Matchprint Virtual Proofing and RealTimeProof solutions. KPG representatives will also be on hand to discuss the features and benefits of the Kodak Approval NX Digital Color Imaging System.
