RR Donnelley Agrees to Lease New Space for Headquarters

CHICAGO, Nov. 19 -- R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company today announced that the company has agreed to lease 110,000 square feet in an office tower at 111 S. Wacker Drive in Chicago, which will become the new site of RR Donnelley's global headquarters. The company is expected to occupy the space in mid-2005. Commenting on the announcement, RR Donnelley CEO Mark A. Angelson said, "RR Donnelley has been an important part of the vibrant Chicago business community since the company's founding here 140 years ago. Mayor Daley continues to create an environment that makes Chicago an exceptional location for RR Donnelley and other businesses. We are proud that our heritage of quality, customer service, and innovation began in Chicago and delighted to make this long-term commitment to keep our headquarters here." "This will retain one of Chicago's oldest companies in the city and reinforce Chicago's reputation as a great location for corporate headquarters," said Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley. "If you talk to executives of other companies that have chosen Chicago for their headquarters, you won't find any who regretted the move."
