Colonial Press installs a BravoPlus from Muller Martini

Press release from the issuing company

Miami, Florida — The largest private and minority-owned full-service printing operation in the U.S. is continuing its expansion. Colonial Press International (CPI), a full-service web and sheetfed commercial facility, has installed a new BravoPlus saddle stitching system from Muller Martini. BravoPlus is the most highly automated mid-range stitcher available, incorporating features that were previously provided only on high-volume machines. Producing at the rate of 13,000 copies per hour, it offers a range of feeder, quality control and automation options. CPI’s postpress operation runs several other Muller Martini systems. “Our four Muller Martini high-speed Prima saddle stitchers cruise at their top speeds with either traditional or loop stitch,” says Carlos Garcia, Jr., Director of Corporate Services. “And our 18-pocket Muller Martini perfect binder offers the alternate hot glue binding option that’s perfect for magazines or books.”
