Quark launches "Let's Talk" road show

DENVER - November 5, 2004 - Quark Inc. announced today a new worldwide initiative to reach out and engage customers. The “Let’s Talk” road show, launched in London several weeks ago with a two-day event for Quark’s key UK customers and is now expanding throughout Europe and North America. Attendees to the London and New York events had the opportunity to meet with and hear from Quark CEO, Kamar Aulakh. “This road show is part of our ongoing commitment to get closer to our customers,” said Kamar Aulakh, president and CEO of Quark. “This is our opportunity to hear from our customers and respond to their requirements for the future. And, we’ll be showing some of our new products, including QuarkXPress 6.5.” Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions on a variety of subjects from technology to service and hear about Quark’s plans for the future. Road show attendees will also see QuarkXPress 6.5, the latest version of the industry-leading publishing software, that now includes image editing and effects using QuarkVista XTensions software and native Photoshop file import and manipulation. This upgrade is available free of charge to registered QuarkXPress 6 users. “Let’s Talk” has already visited major cities in the U.S. including New York and Chicago, and more are being planned for the new year. In cooperation with local European partners, “Let’s Talk” will visit France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Switzerland, the UK, and many more countries. The next events in North America take place in Dallas on November 8, Los Angeles on November 11, and Toronto on November 18, 2004.
