ATLANTA — Stevens Graphics, Inc., the third largest directory printer in the United States, has purchased a new 28 x 40-inch Mitsubishi Diamond 3000TP Tandem Perfector. The highly automated eight-color press with tower coater was demonstrated in the Mitsubishi exhibition area at Graph Expo and Converting Expo 2004. It was delivered to Stevens Graphics' manufacturing plant in Birmingham, Ala., at the conclusion of the show. A wholly owned subsidiary of BellSouth Corp., Stevens Graphics operates two dedicated directory and catalog printing plants, in Atlanta and Birmingham.
