Quebecor Renews Agreement with RONA

Wednesday, February 20, 2008

Press release from the issuing company

Montréal, Canada - Feb. 19 2008 – Quebecor World Inc. (TSX: IQW) announced today that it has signed a five-year contract with RONA and its affiliates across Canada.  RONA is Canada's largest hardware, home renovation and gardening products distributor and retailer. This new agreement, which prolongs and expands the scope of the existing partnership between Quebecor World and RONA, will have Quebecor World printing 100% of RONA's advertising material, including its retail flyers.

In addition to printing RONA's advertising material, Quebecor World will provide important value-added services, among them the "Coficio" advertising campaign management software, which includes technical development and support services, and the development and distribution of special products to support RONA on a national scale.

"Quebecor World's bid was selected because it enabled us to maintain a profitable partnership – extending well beyond the traditional customer-supplier relationship," stated Michael Brossard, RONA's Senior Vice-President, Marketing and Development.

Quebecor World plans to support RONA's national expansion with tailored, advanced tools, while also acting as a valuable partner, notably by helping RONA better respond to new industry trends, improve its access to a constantly changing clientele, and to maintain its leadership position in the renovation sector.

"Our relationship with RONA is truly a strategic cooperation between two businesses. Over the years, we have made every effort to enhance the standards of our shared values while seeking means of creating more value for both companies," added Tony Galasso, President of Quebecor World Canada. "The specialised services we offer will enable us to strengthen our ties beyond our traditional printing services."
