Agfa Breaks Sales Goals at Graph Expo

Press release from the issuing company

Ridgefield Park, NJ – October 20, 2004 – The 2004 Graph Expo proved to be a tremendous success for Agfa. The company reported it broke its sales goals for systems and consumables at the show, and came away with hundreds of qualified leads for new products. Of particular interest was Agfa's new :Azura chemistry-free plate, which is already shipping, and The Graphic Enterprise Suite – :Arcadia, :ApogeeX and :Delano – software that combine to help streamline and automate many processes within customers' operations. "The :Arcadia/:ApogeeX/:Delano demonstrations, which emphasized the process automation and workflow enhancements, dazzled booth visitors. As customers are looking for ways to take command of their workflow and processes, they are recognizing the value that these products have," said Agfa's Tom Saggiomo, president, Graphic Systems, North America. "It's not enough to simply have a PDF- and JDF-based workflow. Software has to bring value to The Graphic Enterprise, and the combination of :Arcadia, :ApogeeX and :Delano – The Graphic Enterprise Suite – does that, and more."
