PARAMUS, N.J., OCTOBER 18, 2004, – Susan Reif, director, Professional Development, for the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL), Paramus, N.J., was elected president of the Association for Graphic Arts Training (AGAT) at the AGAT Annual Conference in Pewaukee, Wis., last month. Reif has been actively involved in AGAT for 10 years, serving in various Board positions since 1994, most recently as secretary and Marketing liaison. As president of the association for graphic arts trainers, educators, and human resources professionals, Reif is committed to building on AGAT’s record of service to members. “AGAT membership is on the upswing and we’re very excited about that,” said Reif. “We’re hoping to promote continued growth by increasing the networking opportunities we provide members and expanding our roster of services. We have a very strong Board of Directors and we’re eager to move forward. Many of the founding members of the Association have come forth to offer their assistance in our efforts, and I’m deeply grateful for that. Reif earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Education from the State University of New York College at Geneseo, and will complete her M.A. in Graphic Communications Management and Technology at New York University this December.
