Susan Reif Of NSPL Elected President Of Association For Graphic Arts Training

PARAMUS, N.J., OCTOBER 18, 2004, – Susan Reif, director, Professional Development, for the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL), Paramus, N.J., was elected president of the Association for Graphic Arts Training (AGAT) at the AGAT Annual Conference in Pewaukee, Wis., last month. Reif has been actively involved in AGAT for 10 years, serving in various Board positions since 1994, most recently as secretary and Marketing liaison. As president of the association for graphic arts trainers, educators, and human resources professionals, Reif is committed to building on AGAT’s record of service to members. “AGAT membership is on the upswing and we’re very excited about that,” said Reif. “We’re hoping to promote continued growth by increasing the networking opportunities we provide members and expanding our roster of services. We have a very strong Board of Directors and we’re eager to move forward. Many of the founding members of the Association have come forth to offer their assistance in our efforts, and I’m deeply grateful for that. It should be an exciting year for AGAT.” “We at NAPL are very proud of Susan,” said Joseph P. Truncale, NAPL president and CEO. “The high caliber of work she does for our Association is mirrored in her service to AGAT, an organization for which NAPL has the deepest respect.” Susan Reif has been with NAPL for 14 years, serving as publications editor and WorkPLACE program manager before taking on her current role of Director, Professional Development, where she spearheads the Association’s educational and management development programs and services. Reif earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Education from the State University of New York College at Geneseo, and will complete her M.A. in Graphic Communications Management and Technology at New York University this December.
