Rampage Systems expands flexo offering with Rampage Label Production System

Rampage Systems, Booth 4466, Graph Expo ’04 – Rampage Systems has introduced the Rampage Label Production System (LPS) for flexographic printers. The cornerstone of the LPS system is an automatic step-and-repeat function, which accepts job ticket data entered manually or passed in JDF from a third-party system. Using these specifications, LPS produces an approval “slug” that accompanies artwork through the approval cycle using dynamic data from the job ticket. Other important features in this version include: •Support for 28 spot colors •Varnish and bump-color creation •Auto versioning •Vertical and horizontal distortion •In-RIP trapping with offline preview and editing •RIP-once proofing and softproofing •Integrated approval controls and job management •Digilox cell screening Rampage LPS is due for release in Q1 of 2005 and is available for diverse imaging systems. The entry cost to LPS is $20,000 excluding installation and training.
