Rampage Systems announces Rampage JVX, an automated JDF-enabled workflow

Rampage Systems, Booth 4466, Graph Expo ’04 – Rampage Systems, a member of CIP4 and NGP, debuted Rampage JVX, an automated prepress workflow supporting the JDF standard. The product will begin to ship in Q4 of 2004. Key features include: •Automatic imposition using templates in JDF format from 3rd-party applications •Integration with 3rd-party MIS packages for job creation, tracking, costing, and analysis via Job Messaging Format (JMF) •Remote Job Submission via FTP hot folders •Automatic JDF-based step-and-repeat and other flexo features •Distiller plug-in for cleaning incoming PDF files •Automatic versioning In addition to the features listed above, Rampage JVX brings forward all of the features included in older versions of the Rampage workflow, including automatic trapping, built-in picture replacement (OPI), a client-server architecture supporting Mac OS9 and 10, and proofing from Rampage Digital Masters (RDMs).
