U-Printing buys Mitsubishi Diamond press

Press release from the issuing company

WEST LOS ANGELES, Calif., Feb. 8 - UPrinting.com, a trusted leader in online printing, is proud to announce a new lineup to its arsenal of offset printing technology. Joining the West LA production facilities is a brand new 40" Mitsubishi Diamond 3000S Offset Press, which prints 28"x40" sheets, is capable of outputting more than 13,000 SPH (sheets-per-hour). This will dramatically improve production turnaround times and expand U-Printing's offset product offering.

New Pre-Press technology includes a brand new state-of-the-art Kodak CTP Platesetter as part of its powerful direct-to-plate automated infrastructure. This additional Platesetter, which works at an ultra-fast 250 line screen and extremely accurate colors, allows U-Printing to operate even more efficiently by providing added redundancy that helps prevent potential downtimes.

"U-Printing is always looking at new ways to increase our productivity and ability to serve our customers," said Ramin Mesriani, the CEO of the U-Printing Network. "With the added power of a second Platesetter joined to our Prinergy Workflow system and brand new Komori and Mitsubishi presses, we can process orders even more efficiently and accurately, ensuring that our customers get the best results possible."

Working closely with both Kodak and Mitsubishi has taken U-Printing to a new level in both technological and printing capabilities. "We are excited to see U-Printing's rapid growth and are proud to have a close relationship with them," says Fred Sosa, Executive Sales Representative with Kodak Graphic Communications Group. "Seeing U-Printing grow at this pace is outstanding in this otherwise slow printing market," said Frank Fruciano, Regional Sales Executive at Mitsubishi Industrial Equipment. "It's exciting to add to their production capabilities with this new 40" Diamond 3000S Press."

As U-Printing continues to grow, a strong commitment to customer service remains a central focus of this trusted online printing company. An established leader in the online printing market, U-Printing's new technology acquisitions are a testament to their commitment to quality, service and affordable printing.
