Scanvec Amiable Provides Software Solution for New Xerox Wide Format Systems

PHILADELPHIA--Oct. 12, 2004-- Scanvec Amiable, the recognized global leader in providing complete, professional software solutions from design to production for the sign making and large format digital printing industries was chosen by Xerox Corporation to be the software provider for the new Xerox 8160 and 8142 Wide Format Color Printers. With its new wide format printers, announced yesterday, Xerox will provide a full solution with software, consumables, media and services. Scanvec Amiable will provide Raster Image Processing (RIP) software products suitable for entry level to high volume production which enable users to control all aspects of the output image with high levels of flexibility, efficiency and productivity. Every RIP package will include special ICC output profiles developed for Xerox media for accurate and consistent color reproduction across the wide range of media.
