VALENCIA, Calif.--Sept. 24, 2004-- Delta Printing Solutions, a book manufacturing solutions company located here, recently purchased a combination folder, significantly expanding the company's production capabilities. This combination folder will allow Delta Printing Solutions to be more flexible and decrease turn times for cross grain products. The M7X/4 combination folder will allow Delta Printing Solutions to run up to 96 pages per signature. The Timson M7 series of long grain folders will give a tight, accurate fold without unsightly creasing "This folder represents a significant step forward in our web printing capabilities," said Pat Reed, VP of Operations at Delta Printing Solutions. "It allows us to offer our customers a higher and more consistent print quality, as well as faster turnaround times." This combination folder will be installed on Delta Printing Solutions' Timson T46 heatset web press, which will become the company's second combination folder capable of printing up to a 96-page signature. The Timson press features a large 53" x 46" cutoff size, allowing customers to use more efficient 48-, 64- and 96-page configuration and layout formats. Installation is expected to be completed later this year.
