United Litho Caught in Tornado's Path

HUNT VALLEY, Md., Sept. 22 -- United Litho, Inc., a wholly owned printing facility of The Sheridan Group, Inc. located in Ashburn, Virginia, was damaged by a tornado on September 17, 2004. A portion of the facility's roof was damaged and some inventory sustained water damage. ULI is operating in some areas of the facility and expects to resume full production by the end of the week. Based on an assessment of our insurance coverage, we do not expect this event to have a material impact on TSG's financial results.
