CHARLOTTE, NC (September 1, 2004) -- PrintForce and the Graphic Arts and Imaging Technology Department of Central Piedmont Community College will be holding the first-ever Principles of Flexo seminar on October 15, 2004. The seminar is designed for people new to the flexographic process, new employees of flexo companies, and for individuals who need a refresher course in flexography. An overview of the process will be covered, as well as flexographic plates and platemaking, presses, press concerns and variables and prepress issues. Live demonstrations will showcase prepress, platemaking and presswork. The seminar, to be held at 315 W. Hebron Street in Charlotte, NC, will start at 9:00 a.m. and will end at 2:00 p.m. Lunch is provided. Cost is $75 per person for PICA members and $125 per person for non-members.
