EFI Opens Customer Training Facility Near Minneapolis

Press release from the issuing company

Foster City, Calif. - August 25, 2004 - EFI, the world leader in digital imaging and print management solutions for commercial and enterprise printing, has opened a customer training facility in its Eagan, Minn., office that will provide training for EFI Print MIS products and workflow solutions. EFI is committed to helping its customers increase productivity, profitability, and operational efficiencies, and the new training center is another valuable benefit to customers. Located just 10 minutes from the Minneapolis airport, the facility has three training rooms with new Dell Workstations and ViewSonic LCD flat panel displays, along with ceiling mounted NEC and Proxima projectors. The rooms seat 10, 12 or 25+ people for seminars on EFI Hagen OA*, EFI PrintFlow* and other EFI products. "We understand the importance of training our customers so they receive the maximum benefits from their MIS systems, and the quality of that training starts with the facilities we offer them," said Bob Rothschild, senior director of professional services at EFI. "The new Eagan center is well-suited for learning, and we look forward to hosting many EFI customers here in the weeks and months to come." In addition to the training rooms, a new state-of-the-art ACD (call handling system) has been installed for customer support, increasing phone support efficiency for customers. A similar phone system and new equipment have also been installed at EFI's training facilities in Pittsburgh, Pa., and Lebanon, N.H.
