JDF Product Catalog Expands with Market

Press release from the issuing company

Darmstadt, Germany (August 16, 2004) The International Cooperation for the Integration of Processes in Prepress, Press, and Postpress (CIP4) today announced the release of the second edition of JDF Marketplace. The JDF Marketplace is a catalog of JDF enabled products and services, and since its first edition, published in March of this year, over 100 new products and services have been added. "The growth of listings in JDF Marketplace reflects the JDF explosion we saw at drupa and holds true to our forecasts," said CIP4 marketing director Margaret Motamed of EFI. "We forecasted the number of JDF-enabled products and services would double by the end of the year and double again by Print '05. We are on that course." This edition of JDF Marketplace also includes a more user-friendly design and a new two-up listing format. "One of the things we heard from the user community is that they needed better information about JDF, including better information on how to find JDF-enabled tools for their process automation programs, " said CIP4 CEO Martin Bailey of Global Graphics. " JDF Marketplace is a great resource that can save printers a lot of time finding the JDF-enabled solutions that they need." JDF Marketplace is published as a PDF file suitable for screen display and desktop printing and is free to the public. To download the most current edition of the JDF Marketplace visit: http://www.cip4.org and select "JDF Marketplace."
