Tufco Technologies Awards Educational Scholarships

GREEN BAY, WI (August 19, 2004)--Tufco Technologies, Inc., awarded $2,100 in scholarship funds to three employee families at a recognition luncheon held at the Wellington Restaurant on August 18, 2004. Those being recognized were Erek Belongia, Megan Rollo and Katie Maas. Erek, a son of Steve & Deborah Belongia, is a student at UW- Whitewater. His father works in Tufco’s maintenance department. Megan attends UW-LaCrosse and is the daughter of Jeff & Jenny Rollo. Her father works in Tufco’s press department. Katie, the daughter of Larry & Sally Maas is a student at UW-Green Bay. Her father works in Tufco’s laminating department. Lou LeCalsey, President and CEO, presented each recipient with a check for $700 and an award certificate. LeCalsey commented, “I was extremely impressed by the caliber of candidates who were selected this year. We recognized three talented, young students with plans to achieve their dreams and we are very proud for their families. Our company’s scholarship program not only supports our associates, but also Tufco’s belief that Wisconsin has one of the strongest educational systems building a strong workforce for the future.”
