Standard paper input capacity of 4,600 sheets and on-the-fly paper loading enables long, productive unattended print runs. The Océ VarioPrint 2110 utilizes an advanced air separation and vacuum feed system, a short paper path, and the unique Océ Copy Press reprographic system to provide exceptional uptime, impressive image quality, and extremely reliable paper feeding, regardless of media types. A paper positioning module ensures that images are registered precisely (<.5mm) from image to image or back to front. This registration accuracy is essential when running multi-layer forms, jobs requiring accurate page number alignment, or jobs requiring accurate registration due to finishing requirements. Capacity and Finishing Capabilities The Océ VarioPrint 2110 is ideal for environments needing 150,000 to 350,000 images per month; however, the monthly duty cycle can go as high as one million impressions per month. Paper output has been dramatically increased to a hefty 4,000 sheets. For print providers requiring additional paper input capacity, a unique three-tray or four-tray “duo tray” option enables input capacities to be increased to 8,000 sheets or 10,200 sheets -- without adding an inch of footprint. The Océ VarioPrint 2110 system provides three-position stapling in its standard configuration. Towards the end of 2004, a number of online and inline finishing options will be commercially available. The BLM6100 booklet maker from SDD is designed for high production environments and provides a face trim with saddle stitching, optional loop staple and a square spine option. Additionally, the HVS6000 stacker from SDD can be implemented to provide high-capacity stacking of letter and tabloid sizes with a capacity of up to 5,000 sheets. The BLM6100 and HVS6000 can be implemented singularly or run in tandem, depending on customer requirements. In the first quarter of 2005, the integrated Booklet Maker (iBLM) will be introduced. Designed as a convenient, easy-to-use inline booklet maker, the iBLM will have the ability to produce up to a 20-page tabloid duplex booklet with saddle stitching with a push of a button and no additional footprint.
