Tom Saggiomo to Succeed Robert Stabler as Head of Agfa Graphic Systems NA

Ridgefield Park, NJ – August 13, 2004 – Agfa announced today that upon closing of its acquisition of Lastra S.p.A. at the end of this month, Tom Saggiomo, president and CEO of Lastra America Corporation, will head Agfa’s Graphic Systems group in North America. Saggiomo succeeds Robert Stabler, president of Graphic Systems in North America. Prior to the creation of Lastra America Corporation, Saggiomo was one of the founding architects of Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG). He managed Eastman Kodak’s Printing Products Division and was director of marketing and sales for Hoechst/Enco. Saggiomo is also a board member and treasurer of The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies (NPES). Stabler has decided to pursue other career opportunities. He has been with the company for 20 years, has held several senior positions in both North America and Europe and has been instrumental in managing the transition from analog workflows to digital Graphic Enterprise Solutions for the company.
