Xerox receives the Award from Taylor Corporation

Press release from the issuing company

Minn., Aug. 12, 2004 - Xerox Corporation has received the 2004 Distinguished Partner Award from Taylor Development, the support organization that provides services for the businesses that are part of Taylor Corporation. The award recognizes Xerox's exceptional customer focus to the 90 autonomous businesses within the Taylor Corporation family of companies, which are involved in diverse markets and industries, providing business and personal communication products, technologies and services. Xerox's efforts to understand customer requirements and to provide the right solutions and services has led to growth opportunities for both Xerox and Taylor Corporation companies. Xerox is one of only four companies receiving the award and was chosen from an initial list of more than 100 vendors. "We appreciate Xerox's willingness to better understand our businesses. Their commitment has been an important part of the Taylor Companies being able to develop leading edge offerings for the diverse customers and markets they serve," said Brad Schreier, chief executive officer, Taylor Corporation/Taylor Development. According to Schreier, Xerox and its innovative equipment, software and services enabled Taylor companies such as Progressive Impressions International, a global full-service marketing communications company, to acquire and retain clients and develop their own proprietary technology and creative marketing solutions to help their customers attain their revenue goals. "This award is a reflection of all the work we do to support customer business in addition to providing breakthrough technology," said Gil Hatch, president, Xerox Production Systems Group. "We are constantly working to make sure our customers succeed and will continue to work with the Taylor Companies on new growth opportunities."
