Sinclair Printing installs a BravoPlus saddle stitcher from Muller Martini

Los Angeles, California — Sinclair Printing Company, owned and operated for 75 years by the Sinclair family, has stepped up its booklet production by adding a new BravoPlus saddle stitching system from Muller Martini to its full service bindery. BravoPlus is Muller Martini’s fastest mid-size stitcher, capable producing at the rate of 13,000 cycles per hour. Designed to be the most automated stitcher in its class, the machine provides touch screen controls and user guidance menus to expedite make-readies and speed job turnaround. Sinclair is a commercial printer and specializes in multi-page bound material. The company runs an array of 40” Komori sheetfeds, Heidelberg Harris Full non-heatset 36” webs with JF35C folders, and Heidelberg Harris, Web 26, M110 heatset presses, and provides door-to-door services with its extensive digital and traditional prepress, and its finishing capabilities. “By maintaining complete production facilities in-house, we maintain close control of our jobs to meet or exceed our customers expectations,” states plant manager Gary Hawkins.
