RR Donnelley to Print Hearst Magazines' New Launch

CHICAGO, Aug. 5 -- R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company has been awarded the printing of SHOP, Etc., the one-stop shopping magazine for fashion, home and beauty. This new title is published by Hearst Magazines, a unit of The Hearst Corporation, and one of the world's largest publishers of monthly magazines. Commenting on being awarded the production of this new launch, John Paloian, RR Donnelley's Group President, Publishing & Retail Services, said, "We recognize the magnitude of the investment that a publisher makes in launching a new magazine, and we will dedicate the resources needed to ensure the successful production of this new title. RR Donnelley has been a major print supplier to Hearst Magazines for more than 25 years, and continues to win new business based upon the proven experience and expertise in consistently producing products that satisfy Hearst's needs and expectations. RR Donnelley currently prints Hearst Magazines' Esquire, Harpers BAZAAR, House Beautiful, Marie Claire, O, The Oprah Magazine, Redbook, Seventeen, Smart Money, Town & Country, and a variety of custom publications, specials, inserts and direct mail. Shop, Etc. will be produced in RR Donnelley's Glasgow, Ky., plant.
