Fox River Paper Company Appoints John Laabs Director of Marketing

(July 27, 2004) - Appleton, WI - John Laabs of Mequon, Wisconsin was recently appointed Director of Marketing for the Fox River Paper Company. In this position, Laabs will lead the company’s marketing department, which includes strategic marketing disciplines, as well as new product development. For the past 6 years, Laabs has worked in various sales and marketing capacities for both Fox River and Gilbert brands of paper. He has 11 years of sales experience in fine papers and 4 years of marketing and market development experience. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point in 1989 with a degree in business administration. He belongs to The Worldwide Printing Thermographers Association and is an active member of its public relations committee.
