Xerox Joins Adobe Creative Suite Seminar Tour to Help Creative Pros Design and Print Digitally

ROCHESTER, N.Y., & SAN JOSE, Calif.--July 27, 2004-- Graphic designers and printing professionals can learn the latest techniques to achieve superior results with digital printing at a free seminar series that will visit seven U.S. cities during July and August. The Adobe Creative Suite Tour, from Adobe Systems Incorporated and sponsored by Xerox Corporation, offers two free half-day sessions: one for creative professionals and graphic designers, the other for pre-press and print production professionals. "Increasing awareness of digital printing capabilities among designers, pre-press and print production managers, and other print buyers adds powerful new digital communications solutions that complement traditional print," said Tom Wetjen, vice president, Xerox Worldwide Graphic Communications Industry Business. "Xerox participation in the Adobe Creative Suite Tour is among the many ways we're helping document owners, creators and digital print providers work smarter with digital technology." The two-day seminars are expected to draw as many as 400 attendees for sessions led by industry experts from Adobe and Xerox. The sessions are intended to provide both creative professionals and print professionals the opportunity to learn the powerful new features in the Adobe Creative Suite and how to achieve superior printed results. Attendees will hone their graphic design, pre-press, and print production skills; network with colleagues; learn tips and tricks for the award-winning Adobe Creative Suite; and gain insight into new digital technologies. Adobe Creative Suite is a complete design environment that combines Adobe Photoshop CS, InDesign CS, Illustrator CS, GoLive CS, Acrobat 6.0 Professional and the innovative Version CueTM file manager. At the seminars, Xerox will showcase its award-winning line of Phaser printers, including the new Phaser 7750DN Printer, a recent PC Magazine "Editor's Choice" winner. In addition, Xerox will share real customer print samples from the flagship Xerox iGen3 Digital Production Press and highlight the Xerox Premier Partners global network of digital print services providers. At each of the sessions, the design-focused seminar takes place the afternoon of the first day; the print-focused seminar is the morning of the second day.
