Nashua Acquires Magellan Line of Wide Format Products from PM Company

NASHUA, N.H.--Jan. 7, 2004-- Nashua Corporation, a premier manufacturer and marketer of labels, thermal specialty papers and imaging products, today announced that it has acquired the assets of the Magellan wide format graphics product line from PMCo. L.L.C. of Cincinnati, Ohio for an undisclosed amount. Commenting on the acquisition, Andy Albert, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Nashua, said, "The purchase of the Magellan line enhances our ability to offer our wide format customers higher-end graphics products that have a proven reputation for excellence and price performance. This acquisition is consistent with our strategy of adding value with new products and services that leverage our converting and distribution capabilities." The acquisition will be integrated into the sales, marketing and manufacturing operations of the Dietzgen wide format business unit. Barry Knott, General Manager of Dietzgen, added, "The Magellan line provides a one-stop shopping opportunity for our reprographics customers who are increasingly adding graphic services to their traditional business offerings. At the same time, Magellan customers will benefit as the Dietzgen distribution network will help them reduce shipping costs and dramatically shrink product lead times." Nashua's Dietzgen Division is a leading North American converter of wide format media for digitally produced documents and graphics. Dietzgen engineers and converts quality paper, films and specialty substrates to the reprographics and display graphics marketplace and services customers through a nationwide network of regional distribution centers. To meet customers' needs for fast turnaround, the Company has manufacturing facilities in Morristown, TN and Vernon, CA as well as distribution centers located in California, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Tennessee, Texas, and Florida.
