Mohawk Launches New Website

Press release from the issuing company

Cohoes, NY – Mohawk Paper Mills, Inc. launched a website that combines elegance and simplicity, providing accessibility to any user. Mohawkpaper.com currently utilizes Flash for an elegant, user-friendly interface that advances the 2002 introduction of the company’s new identity and logotype. The all-new Mohawkpaper.com was designed by Lisa Strausfeld of Pentagram New York; the same design firm that created Mohawk’s new identity and logotype. The site includes interactive capabilities, creative movement, expanded galleries highlighting work, informative and educational resource sections, company info and high-end imagery. “We wanted to create a site that enables users to see resourceful information in a simple yet creative way,” says Mohawk’s Vice President and Creative Director, Laura Shore. “Some websites are cluttered with information, which makes navigation challenging for the visitor. Our site presents information in a very organized way – in a way a visitor to the site wants to see it. Each section featured in the website is tailored to fit the needs of designers, printers, print buyers, writers, and more,” Shore continues. Mohawk’s new website includes: - The About section features information on Mohawk’s history, environmental commitment, Converting Services, and more. - The Paper section contains extensive, useful information about Mohawk’s premium paper grades. - The Features section includes expanded galleries and images of Mohawk Show 4 winners and finalists, Mohawk’s 2003 Annual Report Collection, Case Studies and Mohawk’s newest initiative, Mohawk Color Copy. - The Resources section is full of valuable information from paper basics to digital, design and print production basics. Visit the site’s PDF library to download PDFs on helpful topics. To see Mohawk’s new site, visit www.mohawkpaper.com or call 1-800-THE MILL for more information. Mohawk Paper Mills, Inc. is a leader in the manufacture of premium printing papers. From its flagship grade, Mohawk Superfine, through proprietary Inxwell products, Navajo and Options, Mohawk has engineered its papers to provide optimal performance for sheetfed, web and digital printing.
