Xerox CEO to Keynote Aiim And On Demand Expo 2004

New York, New York - December 15, 2003 - Advanstar Communications, Inc. today announced that Anne M. Mulcahy, chairman and chief executive officer of Xerox Corporation, will be the opening keynote speaker at the upcoming, co-located AIIM 2004 and ON DEMAND 2004 Conferences & Expo. AIIM 2004, the enterprise content management event, and ON DEMAND 2004, the digital printing & automated production event, takes place March 8-10, 2004 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. Both events offer qualified buyers and suppliers the opportunity to take part in separate, educational conference sessions, held together with one conjoined expo floor showcasing the latest technologies of each industry. A respected leader in the IT and business world, Mulcahy will take the spotlight as the opening-day keynote. Document & content management and digital printing & publishing experts will hear Mulcahy speak on Monday, March 8, 2004, starting at 9:00 a.m. in Special Events Hall 1D. Her presentation, titled "Innovation at Work: The Link Between Document Strategies and Business Results," will explore the need to transform work processes to drive new growth and productivity. With more than 25 years' experience at Xerox, Anne Mulcahy was elected CEO in August 2001 and chairman in January 2002. Prior to these positions, she was president and chief operating officer, as well as president of Xerox's General Markets Operations, which created and sold products for reseller, dealer, and retail channels. In addition to her position on the Xerox board, she is a member of the boards of directors of Fuji Xerox Company, Ltd., Target Corporation, Catalyst, and Fannie Mae. Mulcahy is also a member of The Business Council. Under Mulcahy's leadership, Xerox has completed a dramatic turnaround, strengthened its core office and production businesses, and expanded into new services designed to streamline document-intensive processes.
