PODi AppForum Tour Travels to Nevada

Press release from the issuing company

Rochester, NY - Jan. 21, 2008 - PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, announces Passkey Systems has been named a stop on the AppForum guided tour. Participants will experience the company's complete production workflow using high-speed digital systems to produce personalized printed materials. The 2008 PODi AppForum, Jan. 28- 30 in Las Vegas, is the premier educational conference of its kind for digital print and direct marketing professionals. As part of the AppForum pre-conference intensive sessions, the guided tour takes attendees to some of the most innovative digital operations in Las Vegas.

Digital print professionals wanting to learn more about personalization and digital printing will want to join this session. Passkey Systems (www.passkeysys.com) was founded in 1974 and today is Nevada's largest and most experienced full service direct marketing company. Passkey has provided services to more than 3,000 accounts, including clients in the gaming, real estate, utility and financial industries. The site processes over 40 million pieces of mail annually, and approximately 45 percent of that volume is personalized.

Passkey Systems uses two Xerox iGen3 110 Digital Production Presses, three Xerox Nuvera 120 Digital Production Systems and a Xerox DocuColor 250 Digital Color Printer/Copier to personalize letters, postcards, statements and more. The company also uses Xerox's FreeFlow Variable Information Suite and XMPie software tools to produce the variable-data pieces.

AppForum attendees can gain further updates on personalization and one-to-one marketing at "The Xerox 1:1 Lab - The Power of Relevance. Get Results. Get Revenue" on Tuesday, Jan. 29. Shelley Sweeney, vice president / general manager of the Data Processing Service Bureau and Direct Mail Segment for the Xerox Worldwide Graphic Communications Business, will show attendees how they can apply the lessons from the Xerox 1:1 Lab - a variable testing ground for Xerox customers.

Security and data protection are also critical concerns for print professionals offering personalization.  At the AppForum on Tuesday, Jan. 29, Xerox Global Services Thought Leader and former FBI agent David Drab, CISSP, will discuss how to secure information assets and create a "chain of custody" around the document.
