Ursula Burns of Xerox Resigns From Banta Board

Press release from the issuing company

MENASHA, Wis., Dec. 9 -- Ursula M. Burns, Senior Vice President and President of Business Group Operations at Xerox Corporation, resigned effective today from the Board of Directors of Banta Corporation. Burns' reason for her resignation was the challenge of balancing her significant increase in responsibilities at Xerox with the demands of service as a Banta Director. She was promoted to her current role in December 2002, one year after joining the Banta Board. "We truly regret Ursula's decision to resign as a Banta Director, but fully understand and appreciate the substantial new work demands she faces following her promotion to her present senior executive position at Xerox," said Stephanie A. Streeter, Banta President and Chief Executive Officer. "She's a terrific executive and we wish her well." Donald D. Belcher, Chairman of the Banta Board of Directors, added, "Ursula has made important contributions to Banta over the past two years. We are sincerely grateful for her service on our Board."
