Oce Names Powell Senior Vice President, Sales for Digital Document Systems Division

BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec. 8 -- Oce, a leading supplier of digital document management solutions, today named Daniel S. Powell, Senior Vice President, Sales, for the Western United States and Mexico. Oce has achieved a dominant position in the marketplace through its customer-focused "solution sales" approach, and Powell will play a key role in driving this strategy in the Western Region. Powell will lead the effort to develop sales initiatives that capitalize on Oce's strengths as a provider of total information management solutions. Under Powell's leadership, the Western Region will improve its ability to address customer requirements and help organizations implement solutions that drive value to their bottom line. Powell joins Dom Caputo, Vice President, Sales for the Eastern Region and Michael Roberts, Vice President, Sales for the Central Region in the leadership of the Oce Digital Document Systems sales group. He brings more than 25 years experience in sales and management to his new role. Most recently he was a vice president and officer of Toshiba America Information Systems. He served as general manager of the Computer Systems Division, Relationship Business Unit, where he was responsible for development and execution of strategic programs and market expansion throughout the United States. Prior to that, he held numerous senior leadership positions at Xerox Corporation, the most recent being senior vice president and general manager of the North America Solutions Group, where he was responsible for $2 billion in annual revenue.
