Ricoh Corporation Introduces the SeriPrinter Model 25

Press release from the issuing company

WEST CALDWELL, NEW JERSEY--Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today introduced the Ricoh(R) SeriPrinter Model 25, a high-powered print system that enhances the performance of existing digital duplicators. By coupling the groundbreaking technology of the Model 25 with any existing 600 dpi or 400 dpi digital duplicator, users will immediately benefit from high-volume production with quality printing in full color or standard spot colors. Advanced engineering of the Model 25 completely eliminates ink smudging and offsetting no matter what the type of paper stock selected. There is no need to wait between color passes because the resin-based ink is fully cured and dried as the paper exits the unit. Four-color printing of intricate production jobs can be produced clearly and seamlessly, no matter what the project entails. "Ricoh is pleased to be the first manufacturer to bring such high-powered production to the marketplace at an affordable price," said Hede Nonaka, Vice President of Marketing for Ricoh Corporation. "We are confident that the addition of the Model 25 will help bring the operation of digital duplicators to new heights." Short run users can take advantage of the Model 25 because it utilizes enhanced digital technology in a copier-like print engine to bring low-cost, full-color process printing that requires no extensive plate-making, chemical cleaning, or costly toner. The Ricoh SeriPrinter Model 25 is available at a suggested retail price of $7,995.00.
