The keynote lineup at Seybold San Francisco 2004 will include: Mary Lee Schneider, President of Premedia Technologies Solutions, R.R. Donnelley & Sons; James C. King, Principal Scientist, Adobe Systems Incorporated; and Kim Graven-Nielsen, CEO, Esko-Graphics. Keynote speakers at Seybold San Francisco 2004 include: Mary Lee Schneider President, Premedia Technologies Solutions, R.R. Donnelley & Sons Mary Lee Schneider is President of the Premedia Technologies Group at RR Donnelley and will be speaking on the topic of "Partnering in the New Millennium: Using the Electronic Workflow to Drive the Brand" on Monday, August 16. RR Donnelley's Premedia Technologies group is one of the world's largest providers of digital photography, prepress, color management, and digital asset management services to retailers, catalogers, publishers, and corporations, with 33 locations worldwide. While with Donnelley, Schneider has also held positions of Senior Vice President, Technology, Director of Marketing and Product Manager. Kim Graven-Nielsen CEO, Esko-Graphics On Tuesday, August 17, Graven-Nielsen, CEO of Esko-Graphics, will focus on the major trends in the packaging printing and converting industry, also surveying the whole packaging supply chain to cover such issues as drivers and changes in the packaging materials supply chain, increasing needs for cross-function collaboration between supply chain partners, final arrival of PDF as the desired format for graphic data interchange, inroads of JDF into packaging workflows and the increasing use of structural CAD and 3D modeling in package design. James C. King Principal Scientist, Adobe Systems Incorporated Dr. King, a Principal Scientist at Adobe Systems Incorporated, will address "Getting Organized Beyond the Desktop" on Wednesday, August 18. King is one of the people responsible for the vision, architecture, design, prototyping, and ultimate development of new products and new features for existing Adobe products. Jim King joined Adobe in 1988 and until 1996, was the Senior Director of Adobe's Advanced Technology Group (ATG). He is now a member of ATG within the Adobe Office of Technology and is focusing on strategic technical issues. He is a member of the ACM, IEEE Computer Society, and President of the IS&T (Society for Imaging Sciences and Technology). He is the inventor of many patents and is well known for his ability to explain Adobe's technology simply and clearly.
