Friday, July 16, 2004

Press release from the issuing company

Tuebingen (July 9, 2004) – Frank Bucher has been appointed as Product Manager at GMG, a leading developer of high-end color management and proofing solutions. Frank Bucher takes on the direct responsibility for identifying future development potential for existing products, conducting market analysis to inform and prioritise new product development projects. With over 20 years’ experience of color management, pre-press and production workflows, Frank Bucher’s broad experience of management and training within the digital prepress sector was consolidated with companies including Maul Belser (one of Europe’s largest rotogravure printing houses), Hell, Screen and Scitex, as well as successfully managing his own consultancy firm. Until recently, Frank was Business Development Manager at Dalim Software, Germany. “I was really impressed by the good reputation that GMG has built up in the industry, and that is one reason I wanted to work with them,” says Frank Bucher. The company has strong sales, strong development and my challenge is to deliver strong product management to ensure that GMG continues to expand its offering by supplying solutions that satisfy changing market demands.” I am extremely confident in GMG's comprehensive suite of color management and proofing products. New products like GMG InkOptimizer and GMG CamFlow are already strengthening our capability to supply highly usable and cost-effective proofing solutions with outstanding color management control to the commercial prepress market worldwide.” “Frank’s extensive grasp of technologies in a rapidly evolving market and his understanding of the need to deliver the best possible solutions to customers means I have total conviction in his ability to build on GMG’s continuing success and innovate for the future,” says Robert Weihing, President and CEO of GMG.
