NewspaperDirect Signs Nine New Licensees to Expand Distribution Network

NEW YORK--July 14, 2004-- NewspaperDirect (www.newspaperdirect.com), a leader in the digital delivery and printing of same-day newspapers from around the world, is pleased to announce that it has signed new license partners in the following territories: -- Americas: Argentina, Bahamas, Cayman Islands -- Europe: Czech Republic, Cyprus -- Asia: Sri Lanka, Singapore, Indonesia -- Africa: Ivory Coast, Ghana Each of these independent licensees has launched local operations in their country to market, sell, print and distribute newspapers from NewspaperDirect's same-day print-on-demand catalog of more than 225 of the world's leading newspapers. These licensees distribute to hotels, retailers, corporations and homes in their territories so that tourists, ex-pats, business people and interested readers can now buy same-day issues of their preferred out-of-market newspapers. Newspapers distributed through NewspaperDirect are exact reproductions of the original printed editions, delivered in a more portable 11"x17" (A3) format. The wide selection of titles includes The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Daily Telegraph, The Times of London, Yomiuri Shimbun, Le Figaro, Il Giornale, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung , El Pais, Chicago Tribune, and Al Hayat.
