PrintXcel Installs RDM Image Qualifiers to Ensure Check 21 Compliance

Press release from the issuing company

Englewood, CO, July 12, 2004– PrintXcel a Quality Park Brand, recently installed RDM Image Qualifiers in all facilities producing business forms and checks. The RDM Image Qualifiers will allow all PrintXcel plants to design and test check documents for image compliance, ensuring that the documents will meet the requirements of Check 21 legislation that will go into effect on October 28, 2004. These Image Qualifiers are the only equipment that conforms to the latest ANSI X9.7 standards on check backgrounds. This is an excellent tool when testing the “image readiness” of checks. When documents are image ready the reject rate is significantly reduced and legibility is improved. PrintXcel’s ability to verify image compliance is a benefit to distributors and end users who have questions about this technology and legislation. Deanna Day, Senior Product Manager stated, "With access to this equipment in all of our facilities, our distributors will immediately know whether their new and repeat check designs will be compliant with the ANSI guidelines for imaged documents. Documentation will be available to show the end users and we can also assist them in making revisions to existing documents that do not comply. This really relieves the burden for the distributor and end user who may not be familiar with the legislation."
