X-Rite: Bruce Myers Receives Prestigious Alumni Prism Award

GRANDVILLE, Mich.--July 1, 2004-- Bruce Myers, X-Rite's Global Sales Training Manager, was recently awarded the Alumni Prism Award from New York University, an award given to a distinguished alumnus of NYU by the New York University Center for Graphic Communication Management and Technology. Myers was chosen by the director of the program and board of trusties for his excellence in art, communication, leadership, graphic design, technological innovation, service and freedom of expression. This was the 19th year NYU has awarded the Alumni Prism Award. Myers has been working in the Graphic Arts field for 19 years, beginning his career with Agfa, were he spent 11 years predominately in sales. Myers joined X-Rite in 1997 as a regional sales representative. In this role he has had consistent yearly sales of over one million dollars, twice earning him X-Rite's Sales Person of the Year award. More recently, Myers was appointed Global Sales Training Manager, where he is responsible for training the X-Rite sales force and dealers worldwide on the education, selling, and application of X-Rite products. "Bruce has earned the respect and admiration of many for his passion, knowledge, and commitment to this industry. We are proud to have him as part of our team." Myers has both PhD and Masters degrees from New York University in Graphic Communication Management and Technology. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography and Printmaking. He also serves the school as an adjunct professor at the Steinhardt School of Education.
