IPG Appoints Semerau Director Of Sales And Marketing For New Imaging Products Division

Irvine, CA, June 22, 2004 – IPG Imaging Professionals Group, a leading provider of full-spectrum visual merchandising services, announced today the appointment of store planning veteran and design and operations management expert, Robert Semerau, to the post of Director of Sales and Marketing for the newly created company division, Imaging Professionals Group. Since 1985, EXPOTRANS has built lightboxes, menu boards, banner stands, visual presentation solutions, and assorted systems to display Large Format Digital Graphics. IPG Imaging Professionals, originally Irvine Photo Graphics, started as a custom photo lab when it opened in 1980. Today the company is the premier source for Large Scale Digital Graphics in virtually limitless formats and materials. Now EXPOTRANS and IPG have combined to make up Imaging Products Group. Under the leadership of Rick Farrell, President and CEO of both manufacturing firms, the new organization produces quality presentation graphics and a wide range of presentation solutions. By combining the manufacturing excellence of each company with our expert in-house technical engineering, Imaging Products Group gives one-source solutions for all aspects of graphic presentations. Controlling each step in the production of digital graphics and the systems used to present them, IPG regulates the variables at the point of manufacture, reducing the risk of difficulties to the end user. By creating a balance of applications of all elements, the Imaging Products Group produces images beyond expectation. Prior to joining IPG, Semerau was the Owner and General Manager of Visual Merchandising and Marketing Services in Mission Viejo, CA, and the Owner and CEO of Visual Accent, Inc. in Irvine, CA, a custom architectural/retail store planning, design and fabrication firm. Before that, he was Partner and CEO of R.S. Specialties, Inc. in Irvine, CA, a custom planning, design and fabrication firm. He received his training in Retail Space Planning and Development at the Institute of Store Planners in NY, NY.
